Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Finvestu ("the app") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Not financial advice

Finvestu is a calculator for illustration only. Outputs are projections based on assumptions you enter. They are not:

• investment, tax, or legal advice,
• a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security,
• a prediction of future market performance,
• a substitute for consultation with a licensed professional.

Markets are volatile. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Decisions you make based on Finvestu's output are your own responsibility.

3. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app is free of charge at time of writing; we may change that in the future.

4. Your content

Portfolios, scenarios, and notes you create in Finvestu are yours. We do not claim any ownership of them. Because portfolios live on your device (and your iCloud account), you are responsible for backups. See the Privacy Policy for storage details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app beyond what applicable law permits,
• use the app to impersonate a licensed financial advisor or to provide investment advice to third parties commercially,
• attempt to disrupt the app or the website, or bypass Apple's App Store protections.

6. Third-party services

The app integrates with Apple services (SwiftData, iCloud, Foundation Models, UserNotifications). Your use of those services is governed by Apple's terms and policies.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrainHaus s. r. o. and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the app, including financial losses resulting from decisions made based on Finvestu's output.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the app with reasonable notice through the App Store or this website.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Slovakia, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction.
