The problem

You're planning 20+ years of your money. The tool should earn that trust.

Fees vanish in the math
Most retirement calculators add fees as a simple "−1 % per year". Finvestu models entry load, TER, custody, and transaction fees separately — because that's how brokers charge them.
Withdrawals are an afterthought
FIRE calculators stop at accumulation. Finvestu plans the drawdown too — Bengen 4 %, percent of balance, or fixed €/month — so you see when the portfolio actually runs out.
Your data shouldn't be someone else's product
Portfolios live on your device, sync across your iPhone and iPad via iCloud, and leave no analytics breadcrumbs. The AI narrative runs locally on-device.
What's inside

Everything a planner needs. Nothing a marketer invented.

Fee-drag visualization
Two side-by-side curves — with and without fees. See exactly how much a 1.5 % TER costs over 30 years.
DCA + step-up contributions
Monthly, quarterly, or annual contributions. Auto-bump 3 % per year to model salary growth.
Three withdrawal strategies
Bengen with inflation adjustment, fixed %, or flat €/month. Triggers by month, date, or portfolio balance.
Real vs Nominal toggle
Switch the hero balance between nominal euros and today's purchasing power. Uses Fisher for real CAGR.
Compare up to 4 portfolios
Stack them on one chart, see which beats the bank, which compounds fastest, which fees kill.
Private by design
Your scenarios live on your device + iCloud. No accounts, no tracking, no ads. On-device AI narrative.
How it works

Three fields to start. Every detail when you need it.

  1. 01

    Create

Pick a preset (FIRE, retirement, ETF DCA, kids' fund, bond-heavy) or start from scratch with three fields: name, horizon, monthly contribution.

  2. 02

    Adjust

Tap pills to tweak lump sum, rate, or horizon. Open Advanced for a piecewise return curve, per-category fees, withdrawal strategies, inflation, and goals.

  3. 03

    Compare

Save variants ("+ higher fees", "+ longer horizon"), pin 2–4 portfolios side by side in Insights, and let the on-device AI explain the difference in plain language.

Who it's for

Built for three kinds of planners.

28–45

The FIRE Planner

"Can I retire at 55 with € 500/month contributions?"

Lives in

Presets → Compare → Withdrawal planning

Any

The Fee Auditor

"How much is my current broker's 1.5 % TER actually costing me?"

Lives in

Fees → FeeDrag chart → Sensitivity

50+

The Retirement Modeler

"Will my portfolio survive 30 years of 4 % withdrawals in Europe?"

Lives in

Bengen → Withdrawal run-out → Real mode

FAQ

Answers, not asterisks.

Is Finvestu free?
Yes. Finvestu is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no "pro" features locked behind a paywall.
Is this financial advice?
No. Finvestu is a calculator for illustration only. It does not execute trades, recommend securities, or replace a licensed financial advisor. All results assume inputs you provide — not a prediction of market behavior.
Which markets and currencies does it support?
You choose the currency per portfolio (EUR, USD, CZK, PLN, HUF, or any ISO 4217 code). Return rates are assumptions you enter — Finvestu doesn't fetch live market data.
What iOS version do I need?
iOS 18.2 or newer. On iOS 26+ the AI narrative uses on-device Foundation Models; on older versions it falls back to a deterministic template summary.
Does it sync across iPhone and iPad?
Yes, via iCloud and your Apple ID. Turn on iCloud Drive in Settings.app and portfolios appear on every device signed into the same Apple ID. Handoff lets you open a portfolio started on iPhone directly on iPad.
Does Finvestu work offline?
Yes. The engine, charts, and AI narrative all run locally. iCloud sync resumes when you're back online.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Each portfolio exports as a .finvestu JSON file, and the Detail screen exports a PDF report. You can also export a CSV of the month-by-month breakdown for Excel or Numbers.
What languages are supported?
English, Slovak, German, Czech, Polish, and Hungarian. The app respects your device language; pick a specific language in Settings to override.
